Latitude 36

Latitude 36 Bermudagrass is a high quality, sterile triploid hybrid developed by Oklahoma State University. It was rated highly in the NTEP (National Turfgrass Evaluation Program) trials for resistance to spring dead spot and for wear tolerance. Latitude 36 offers outstanding cold hardiness, high traffic tolerance and exceptional visual quality. Latitude 36 is an excellent choice for use in the southern U.S. through the transition zone and the upper region of bermudagrass adaptation. Latitude 36 bermudagrass exhibits prostrate growth, fine leaf texture, short internode length, minimal seed head production, and dark green color. It performs best in full sun, but also grows well in shade. Compared to Northbridge, Latitude has a darker green color, establishes slower, and has finer leaves.
